During the Countryside Food annual meeting, Olivia Yanson, Leo Rey Yanson, Ginnette Dumancas, Charles Dumancas, Anita Chua, Arvin John Villaruel, Rey Ardo, and Daniel Nicolas Golez were re-elected as members of the board.

Olivia Yanson and son, Leo Rey, (4th and 5th from left) remain in control of all firms under the Yanson Group of Bus Companies.

The newly-elected directors then held an organizational meeting where Leo Rey Yanson was re-appointed president and chairman of the board, while Olivia was re-appointed as corporate secretary and treasurer.

The statement added that Countryside Food stockholders Roy Yanson, Celina Yanson-Lopez, and Ricardo Yanson Jr. were absent during the meeting despite the due notices sent to them.

A Bacolod City court granted Olivia the mandate to oversee and administer the estate of her late husband, Ricardo Yanson, who co-founded with her in 1968 the Yanson Group of Bus Companies. | GB
