The Don Bosco Technical Institute turned over basic necessities to Victorias City’s Bahay Pag-Asa Youth Center March 9, following the successful conduct of Boscorun Year 3.
The donation forms part of the institute’s commitment under the memorandum of understanding signed between the city government of Victorias and Don Bosco Technical Institute on Nov. 24, designating Bahay Pag-Asa as the beneficiary of Boscorun Year 3.
Through the partnership, Don Bosco Technical Institute pledged to donate a portion of the proceeds generated from the fun run to support the needs and welfare of the youth center, the city said.

Representing the institution during the turnover were school head and rector, Fr. Norman Broderick Segovia, SPAO director Fr. Jhon Robert Andales, and Student Affairs officer Edmalyn Alquizar.
The donation was received by Mayor Abelardo Bantug, Vice Mayor Derek Palanca, and members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod.
Also present during the turnover were Bahay Pag-Asa acting center head Joji Luces and social welfare officer I Ricky Lapidante Jr.
The Center operates under the City Social Welfare and Development Office, headed by Joy Reunir.
Through initiatives such as Boscorun, the school continues to extend meaningful support to programs that uplift and guide the youth of Victorias City. ||
