The city government of Victorias, through its Social Welfare and Development Office, held “Kamp Bulilit” and “Bayanihang Bulilit” activities to promote Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) and strengthen community participation at various child development centers (CDCs) from June 1 to 5.
The initiative was aimed at making parents, guardians, and community stakeholders aware of the importance of ECCD programs and services while encouraging early registration and active participation in CDCs.
Kamp Bulilit served as a community-based activity that provided informative sessions and interactive learning opportunities to highlight the role of early childhood development in the holistic growth of young children, the city said June 8.

Bayanihang Bulilit complemented the activity by promoting volunteerism and collaboration among parents, community members, local officials, and partner-stakeholders. Participants engaged in clean-up drives and minor repairs, and while learning and office supplies were provided to CDCs.
Participants included child development workers, children three to four years old, parents, guardians, community volunteers, and barangay officials.
The activity forms part of the city’s continuing advocacy to promote early childhood development and strengthen community involvement in ECCD programs and services. ||
