Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson and Bingoplus Foundation Inc. executive director Angela Camins-Wieneke signed a Deed of Donation for the various medical equipment to be donated by the latter to the provincial government-run Valladolid District Hospital.
The signing was held Feb. 25 at the HOD Conference Room at the Provincial Capitol in Bacolod City, and witnessed by provincial health officer, Dr. Girlie Pinongan, and VDH chief of Hospital, Dr. Josephine Pahamtang.
The donated equipment consisted of 20 hospital beds with complete accessories, 20 IV stands, two OR tables, five wheelchairs, three portable OR lights, 10 adult stethoscopes, three BP apparatus with stands, and one drop light sensor, the Capitol said in a press release.

Lacson thanked Bingoplus Foundation Inc. for the gesture of goodwill and generosity.
He said that the donor’s act of generosity not only strengthens the province’s healthcare system but also brings hope and healing closer to the communities.
“This donation of various medical equipment to the Valladolid District Hospital is a testament to what can be achieved when the private sector and the government work together for the common good,” Lacson stressed. ||
