USLS alumnus places Top 10 in chemical engineers’ exams

Bobby Gante Maravilla Jr., a graduate of the University of St. La Salle, placed 10th in the November 2024 Chemical Engineers Licensure Examination, with an 88.40 percent rating, the Professional Regulation Commission said Nov. 26.

Maravilla, from Bago City in Negros Occidental, is among the 688 passers out of the 951 examinees, with Kenn Rovikk Estacio Logdat of the University of the Philippines Diliman in the top spot with a 90.90 percent rating.

The USLS also congratulated its five other new chemical engineers, Gio Marlo Alvarez, John Mhel Cabuguas, Nikka Marie Gan, Mhazel Gumayan, and Iza Loise Ramos for passing the exams administered recently by the Board of Chemical Engineering in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, and Rosales.

Registration for the issuance of the professional identification card and certificate of registration will be done online starting on Jan. 7, the PRC said. | CGC
