A 77-year-old American national was found dead April 13 in Sitio Magtongtong, Brgy Tampalon, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
The US citizen was identified by the Kabankalan police as Gary Wayne Moore, 77, who temporarily resides in the place.
Witnesses told the police that they heard two successive gunshots, before the 77-year-old American was found dead.
A suicide note was found by the wife of the victim.
Prior to the incident, the victim and his wife were discussing personal problems, initial police investigations show. | GB
