Adnan Nillos Balisi, an alumnus of the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R), who placed sixth in the Guidance Counselor licensure examination, with an 87.60 rating, was commended by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Bacolod this afternoon, Aug. 23.

Balisi, then a graduate of Riverside College, was also declared the top three examinee during the August 2019 Physical Therapist licensure examination with a rating of 86.85, Councilor Israel Salanga, who authored the resolution approved by the SP during its session this afternoon, said.

“This feat accomplished by Mr. Balisi gives pride and honor to the people of Bacolod City and he serves as an inspiration to those who want to follow in his footsteps,” the resolution said.

The SP said a copy of the resolution will be forwarded to the City Mayor’s Office so that Balisi “may claim his cash incentive as per the Bacolod Topnotcher Incentive Ordinance”, also authored by Salanga, and approved last year./CGC
