An estimated P816,000 worth of suspected shabu were seized by the police from two siblings during a buy-bust at Purok Neptune in Barangay Singcang Airport, Bacolod City yesterday.
Both arrested suspects were categorized by the police as high-value individual drug personalities.
Operatives of the Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group recovered about 120 grams of suspected shabu worth P816,000, P500 in marked money, and drug paraphernalia.
In San Carlos City, agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency seized about 50 grams of suspected shabu worth P340,000 from a lone suspect at Purok Katagalugan in Barangay 6 on Nov. 28.
The arrested suspect, Joebert Estimada, 31, of Urban Phase 1, Barangay Rizal is facing charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. | GB
