Operatives of Bacolod City Police Office recovered an estimated P884,000 worth of suspected shabu and arrested two persons in a buy-bust at Purok Magti-ayon in Barangay 10 on Sunday, Nov. 9.
The arrest of alias “Wilma”, 22, and alias “Tata”, 24, by the City Drug Enforcement Unit yielded about 130 grams of suspected shabu valued at P884,000.
Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency assisted the police in the conduct of surveillance operations against the two drug suspects.
In Silay City, a lone suspect was arrested in a buy-bust at Zone 1 in Barangay Mambulac on the same day.
Alias “Ry-ry”, 42, a construction worker, yielded about three grams of suspected shabu valued at P20,4000.
The arrested suspects are facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. | GB
