Two graduates from the Technological University of the Philippines-Visayas and another two from the University of St. La Salle Bacolod made it to the Top 5 of the Chemical Technicians Licensure Examination as per results released by the Professional Regulation Commission tonight, Dec. 20.
Geicel Osano Salaya of TUPV landed in Top 3 with a rating of 91.50 percent, while another alumna, Razelyn Joy Sapra Giamal is in Top 4, with a 91.00 percent rating.
Drexel John Nobleza Amit of USLS is also in Top 4, while schoolmate Andrea Nicole Carnecer Farol made it to Top 5, with a 90.50 percent rating.
Aissa Marie Bucayan Flores of Cebu Institute of Technology University, and Marjorie del Campo Ocampo of the University of the Philippines Los Banos, shared the Top 1 spot, with a rating of 92.50 percent.
The PRC said 2,600 out of 3,138 passed the licensure examination given by the Board of Chemistry in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, and Zamboanga earlier this month.
Krizzia Mae Dampios Ignacio of the Visayas State University Baybay, meanwhile, topped the Chemists Licensure Examination, with a rating of 92.60 percent. She led the 594 passers out of the 1,148 examinees, the PRC said, adding that the date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony will be announced later. | CGC
