Department of Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco and her sister, Carissa Garcia, of Ako Bisaya Partylist joined Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo and other city officials in inaugurating the Dumaguete Tourist Information Kiosk located near the Pantawan People’s Park Rizal Boulevard Feb. 3.

Frasco commended Remollo for the establishment of a spacious tourist information kiosk in a strategic location, which will greatly help tourists and perfectly aligns with the sense of community at Rizal Boulevard, providing visitors with convenience and opportunities to learn more about the beauty, heritage, artistry and all exciting things happening in Dumaguete City.

The kiosk offers foreign and domestic tourists assistance and details about local attractions and destinations, and travel schedules corresponding to their preferred mode of transportation so they can better plan their visit, the city said.
