Three suspects were arrested by the police in separate buy-bust operations in the cities of Bago and Cadiz in Negros Occidental on Thursday (May 22).
In Bago City, alias “Olin”, 31, and alias “Che- Che”, 25, both residents of Purok Maria Elena, Barangay Dulao, were arrested during the operation at Purok Dhalia in Barangay Abuanan.
Their arrests yielded about two grams of suspected shabu worth P13,600, assorted illegal drugs paraphernalia, P500 in marked money, and P100 in cash.
In Cadiz City, alias “Maritess”, 56, was arrested at Hacienda Golez in Barangay Bonifacio.
Operatives recovered from her possession 2.5 grams of suspected shabu valued at P17,000 and marked money of P500.
The three arrested suspects are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002. | GB
