A public school teacher was arrested in a buy-bust in Binalbagan, Negros Occidental while a drug den was dismantled after the arrest of three drug suspects in Bacolod City yesterday.
In Binalbagan, agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) apprehended alias “Joffel”, 42, a public school teacher, who is classified as a high-value target personality, in Sitio Tap-ok, Barangay Enclaro.
The PDEA, assisted by the local police, seized about 25 grams of suspected shabu, valued at P170,000 from the suspect.
In Bacolod City, a buy-bust operation conducted by the PDEA led to the arrest of three suspects and the discovery of a drug den at Purok Pag-asa, Barangay Estefania.
Aliases “Edgar”, “Gerald” and “Peter”, all residents of the village, yielded 16 grams of suspected shabu valued at P108,000. | GB
