Taberna designated as DAR OIC-regional director for NIR

The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) has named Lucrecia Taberna as its officer-in-charge (OIC) regional director for Negros Island Region (NIR).

Prior to her designation, Taberna served as assistant regional director for Land Tenure Improvement (LTI) and Program Beneficiaries Development (PBD) of DAR-Western Visayas.

She also used to serve as the provincial agrarian reform officer of Negros Occidental.

Pursuant to Department Special Order 966, series of 2024 dated Oct. 21, also assigned at NIR  were Sharlyn Lacuesta as OIC-assistant regional director for LTI and PBD, Ozelle Tellie Tarrosa as OIC-regional chief administrative officer, and Josieline Madera as OIC-budget officer III.

In previous months, the Commission on Elections designated Lionel Marco Castillano as regional director while the Department of Health named Dr. Razel Nikka Hao as regional director in NIR.

Jose Albert Barrogo was also named OIC-regional executive director of Department of Agriculture on Oct. 4. | GB
