The partnership aims to strengthen collaboration between the local government and the SSS in delivering social protection programs and services to qualified beneficiaries.
Mayor Abelardo Bantug III stressed the importance of partnerships between local government units and national government agencies in improving the delivery of services and creating opportunities for Victoriasanons.

He added that collaboration with government institutions helps transform partnerships into concrete programs, services, and benefits for the community.
Bantug signed the MOA with Brenda Cruz, head of the SSS Visayas West 1 Division; Analie Esquilla, head of the SSS Victorias Branch, and Elmer Sendico, head of the Account Management Section.
Witnessing the accord signing were Vice Mayor Derek Palanca, councilors Deilen Tornea Hofileña and Vincent Marie Roa, and city employees.
The SSS executives, meanwhile, reaffirmed the commitment to providing social protection to workers and their families through efficient and responsive social security services.
The partnership symbolizes the shared commitment of both institutions to expand access to social security programs and strengthen public service delivery, the city said, adding the initiative is expected to enhance coordination between the LGU and SSS, and ensure that social security services reach more residents and communities. ||
