Implemented through the CSWDO, in coordination with the City Treasurer’s Office, the payout aims to help address the educational needs of children with disabilities by providing financial support for school-related expenses, including learning materials, transportation, and other basic educational needs, to ease the burden on their families and help them continue their studies, the city said.

PWD program implementer Arvie Brillantes and Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) designate Rodel Martinez facilitated the activity, together with presidents of barangay PWD organizations.

Meanwhile, 63 eligible senior citizens from various barangays received age longevity cash awards for the third quarter of 2026, under City Ordinance (CO) 2021-01, as amended by CO nos. 2022-19, 2024-099, and 2025-008.

The city’s longevity incentive program recognizes the valuable contributions of elderly residents who have led exemplary lives and made significant contributions to their families and communities, particularly those aged 80 and above.

The distribution was facilitated by the CSWDO, in coordination with the CTO, senior citizen program implementer Jasteen Cauntod, Office for Senior Citizens Affairs head Erlinda Sarito, Federation of Senior Citizens Associations of the Philippines president Gilda Alojamiento, and barangay presidents.
