SM City Bacolod has announced its official operating schedule for the Holy Week, allowing shoppers and mallgoers to plan their visits accordingly.
In observance of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, the main mall, including the North Block, will be closed on April 17 (Thursday) and April 18 (Friday).
Normal operations will resume on Black Saturday, April 19, with the mall opening from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and continuing the same hours on Easter Sunday, April 20.
SM Supermarket, meanwhile, will operate with limited hours on Maundy Thursday and on Good Friday, opening at 8 a.m., and closing in the late afternoon. On Black Saturday and Easter Sunday, the supermarket will revert to its regular weekend schedule of 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Regular hours for Sunday worship open to the public is maintained this Easter Sunday. The mass, to be led by the Diocese of Bacolod at North Block, starts at 9 a.m., while at the SMX Convention Center, Christian Church services are held by His Life Ministries every 10 a.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m.; and by Christ’s Commission Fellowship at 10 a.m.
