Silliman graduate tops nurse licensure exam

Kiarra Belle Arante Poblador, a graduate of Silliman University in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, topped the November 2021 Nurse Licensure Examination with an 89.40 percent rating.

Another SU alumna, Esther Faith Malapote Padilla, landed in fourth place along with Ia Hanna Ballares Samillano of Riverside College in Bacolod City, with a rating of 87.80 percent.

Nicole Allyson Fry, also of Silliman, placed eighth with a rating of 87 percent, based on the result posted Dec. 10 by the Professional Regulation Commission, adding that the university logged a 100 percent passing rate after 18 of its examinees passed the NLE.

The PRC also said that 6,086 out of 11,828 passed the board exam given by the Board of Nursing in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, San Fernando, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last month. | CGC
