Silliman 5th in top PH universities

Silliman University in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, ranked fifth in the top 10 Philippine universities listed by the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Asia University Rankings for 2022.

Silliman shares the spot with Ateneo de Davao University and Mapua University, making it one of the seven Philippine universities in the top 550 universities in Asia, based on the QS Ranking that was released Nov. 2, its press release said.

The Philippine rankings, with their corresponding ranks in Asia, are as follows:

University of the Philippines (#77)

Ateneo de Manila University (#124)

De La Salle University (#160)

University of Santo Tomas (#177)

Silliman University, Ateneo de Davao University, and Mapua University (#501-550)

Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology (#551-660)

Central Luzon State University and Xavier University (#601-650)

Adamson University, The Cebu Technological University, Central Mindanao University, Central Philippine University, and Lyceum of the Philippines University (651+)

QS is an independent research and analysis firm based in London.
