The organizers said that Sandurot’s Hiniusang Sayaw beautifully blends traditional and modern dance styles from various communities and institutions in Negros Island as they converge in Dumaguete City for this year’s Sandurot Festival.

The event not only highlights the diverse heritage but also celebrates the spirit of unity and friendship, the very essence of Sandurot that defines our people, the city said. “Each dance tells a story – stories of our ancestors, our struggles and our victories. Through these performances, we collectively honor our roots while embracing the evolution of our culture.” ||
