The management of the Alfredo E. Marañon Sr. Memorial District Hospital (AEMSMDH) in Sagay City, Negros Occidental has temporarily suspended admission of patients after reaching full bed capacity.

In a statement on Sunday, the AEMSMDH management, however, said they will still cater to extreme emergency cases.

“The number of patients coming into the emergency room has greatly increased,” which resulted in the triage tent, emergency room and all wards to reach “full bed capacity.” it said.

The management advised the public “to look for an alternative hospital.”

It assured the public of an update once the situation changes.
