The Leonardo Panaligan Command of the New People’s Army has claimed responsibility for the killing of an alleged “military informant” in Brgy. Macagahay, Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental Jan. 19.
In a statement, rebel spokesperson Ka JB Regalado claimed that Raffy Estorco was meted with a death penalty, for serving as a military asset of the 62nd Infantry Battalion.
Investigations of the Moises Padilla Police Station showed that Estorco was driving his motorcycle when he was shot by an unidentified suspect, Thursday night, in Sitio Tubod, Brgy. Macagahay, Moises Padilla.
The victim succumbed to a fatal gunshot wound in the forehead, according to the police.
Regalado claimed that the death penalty imposed on Estorco was ordered by the people’s revolutionary court./GB
