PCol. Eugene Rebadomia took over as officer-in-charge of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) on Monday, Feb. 9.
Rebadomia, who succeeded PCol. Joeresty Coronica, was installed by PBrig. Gen. Arnold Thomas Ibay, regional director of Police Regional Office-Negros Island Region (PRO-NIR).
The turnover of command rites was attended by Mayor Greg Gasataya and Atty. Owen De Luna, regional director of the National Police Commission-Negros Island Region.

Coronica was cited by the PRO-NIR leadership for his steadfast leadership, strengthening of law enforcement initiatives, and enhancement collaboration with the community in advancing peace and public safety across Bacolod City.
In his speech, Ibay lauded Coronica for his dedicated leadership, highlighting BCPO’s discipline, operational effectiveness, and active community engagement under his command.
At the same time, the PRO-NIR chief told Rebadomia to lead with integrity, uphold discipline, care for personnel, and strengthen coordination with the local government unit, and other stakeholders.
Coronica is up for another assignment at the PRO-NIR, as among the members of its Command Group. | GB
