The Bagani Community Center, a champion community center by LoveYourself Inc. that champions for HIV/AIDS education, testing, and treatment, is organizing Pride Fest 2024 today, June 29.

This event celebrates Pride Month and for-a-cause, to provide essential support to individuals living with HIV in Negros Occidental.

This will be the fourth annual Pride event since Bagani started in 2020.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. at Lunar: Art, Cafe, and Bar, featuring local talent, and promoting HIV education, awareness, and prevention.

Highlights include the introduction of Bagani’s PrEP community rollout, and the relaunch of their self-care HIV testing program.

Attendees can enjoy performances by Bacolod Drag Queens, the Kagayon Dance Troupe, and local DJs.

A significant part of the evening will be the Bagani Drag Ops 2.0, a local drag competition showcasing Bacolod City’s drag community’s creativity and resilience.

The event will also have booths providing free HIV testing and information, their initiative that has been educating and raising HIV awareness in Negros Occidental and Bacolod City for the past four years.

Tickets for Pride Fest 2024 cost P350, with all proceeds going to Bagani Cares, the NGO’s philanthropic arm that supports people living with HIV in Negros Occidental by ensuring access to medication and treatment.

Tickets and reservations are available through the Bagani by LoveYourself Facebook Page, or by contacting Czar Real at 0992-7139068.
