PHINMA Properties broke ground on Dahlia Tower, Maayo Terraces’ first tower in Saludad Township in Bacolod City May 8.
The groundbreaking for the mid-rise residential condominium community within Saludad Township followed the earlier groundbreaking of TRYP by Wyndham, reflecting the continued rollout of key township components in the area.
“Today is meaningful because it’s not just about what Saludad can become. It’s about what is already happening,” Raphael Felix, president and CEO of PHINMA Properties and JEPP Property Corporation, said at the groundbreaking ceremony.

“What was once a vision on paper is steadily becoming a real and active address where homes, institutions, and opportunities are beginning to come together. So today, we say: Hello, Bacolod. Ari na ang Maayo Terraces, nagasugod na,” Felix added.
The groundbreaking for Dahlia Tower marked the start of residential life taking shape within Saludad, the 21-hectare master-planned township by PHINMA Properties, in partnership with JEPP Real Estate Co., along the Bacolod-Silay Airport Access Road in Brgy. Bata, Bacolod.
As homes begin to rise, the township establishes a stronger residential base that supports long-term activity, the company said in a press release.
Maayo Terraces offers a different kind of condominium living for Bacolod: mid-rise, designed for living, and supported by the utilities and infrastructure of an integrated township.
With about 60 percent open space, it emphasizes greenery, community areas, and a more balanced day-to-day environment.
For JEPP, this next phase also carries deeper meaning. Land shaped by generations of memories and responsibility now enters a new chapter, opening a better-planned community that welcomes more Bacolodnons and contributes to how the city will live and grow.
What makes this moment resonate is that it can be seen and revisited. As Bacolod North continues to transform, developments within Saludad help define how the area is taking shape.

Mayor Greg Gasataya, in his message delivered by Atty. Marty Go, secretary to the mayor, said the city government welcomed the milestone and reiterated its support for developments that contribute to Bacolod’s sustainable growth.
“The groundbreaking of PHINMA Maayo Terraces Saludad is more than construction, it is a vote of confidence in Bacolod’s future,” he said. “We remain committed to an investor-friendly Bacolod and to supporting projects that create opportunities for our people to thrive in a master-planned, vibrant environment.”
Go also expressed hope that the community will become “a landmark of pride for our city.”
As the highly-urbanized city expands beyond its traditional center, Bacolod North is emerging as a growth corridor shaped by infrastructure, connectivity, and the city’s natural direction of expansion.
Within this evolving area, Saludad Township continues to advance through on-ground milestones that reflect steady progress.
