As part of the first-ever Pet Festival in Bacolod, the City Veterinary Office hosted an engaging pet agility training and handling session with trainer Spy Dekeling of InSPYred, at the Ayala Malls Capitol Central.

The session focused on the value of dog obedience training, which plays a vital role not just in ensuring a dog’s safety, but also in building their confidence and social behavior, the city said in a press release April 6.

Dekeling emphasized that confident dogs are more balanced, less fearful, and more likely to interact positively with people and other pets.

The event was a fun and informative part of the Pet Festival, and aimed to promote responsible pet ownership and support the growing pet community in Bacolod. | PIO photos
