Joint anti-illegal drug operations led to the dismantling of an alleged drug den and the arrest of four suspects, following a buy-bust in Purok Star Apple 1, Barangay 27, Bacolod City, Aug. 5.
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office-Negros Island Region (PDEA RO-NIR) operatives apprehended four individuals inside the drug den, with aliases “Rizalde”, 60; “Erron”, 27; “Harry”, 31, an STL worker; and “Kevin”, 36.
Approximately 16 grams of suspected shabu, packed in 10 transparent plastic sachets, and worth P108,800, were also seized, along with two improvised tooters containing suspected shabu residue, buy-bust money, a black pouch, and two disposable lighters.
The joint operation was conducted by operatives of PDEA RO-NIR, Negros Occidental Provincial Office, PDEA RO-NIR Regional Special Enforcement Team, the PNP Drug Enforcement Group, and Special Operations Unit NIR.
The arrested suspects remain in custody and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. | TMD
