Police operatives arrested a drug suspect and recovered P95,200 worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust at Barangay E. Lopez, Silay City, Negros Occidental on All Saints’ Day.
The arrest of Noel Tobongbanua, 40, also yielded a disassembled caliber .38 revolver, aside from the confiscated 14 grams of prohibited substance.
Also recovered was the buy-bust money of P1,800 and other items.
In Kabankalan City, operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency seized an estimated 32 grams of suspected shabu from a woman in a buy-bust at Barangay Binicuil.
The suspect, 33, is reported to be a member of Bugalon Drug Group.
The confiscated illegal drugs has a market value of P217,600.
Also recovered from her possession were assorted drugs paraphernalia and P500 in marked money.
Both suspects are now locked up in custodial facilities of Silay City and Kabankalan City police stations. | GB
