Some P231,340 worth of suspected shabu were seized while five drug suspects were arrested by the police in a series of buy-bust operations on Dec. 21 and 22 in Negros Occidental.
Two of the five drug suspects were apprehended by personnel of Police Station 5 in Hacienda Rosario, Barangay Granada, Bacolod City.
Identified only as “Bubot” and “Christian,” both categorized as street level Individuals, they yielded about 15 grams of suspected shabu valued at P102,000.
The same volume of illegal drugs was also recovered from another suspect, 40, in Barangay E. Lopez, Silay City.
At Purok Punao, Barangay Zone 3, Talisay City, the arrest of another 40- year-old suspect resulted in the confiscation of 5.5 grams of suspected shabu worth P37,400 and Honda Click motorcycle.
The apprehension of a 26-year-old laborer at Sitio Cali in Barangay 1 Poblacion, Ilog, led to the confiscation of 0.3 gram of suspected shabu valued at P2,094 and P500 in marked money. || GB
