P2.2M in shabu seized

The Bacolod City Police Office confiscated 344.7 grams of suspected shabu, with a market value of P2,282,450, in 12 anti-drug operations conducted from Nov. 11 to 17.

During the same period, 15 drug suspects were arrested.

Additionally, a 31-year-old resident of Victorias City was arrested by the police on Nov. 19 in Iloilo City for possessing about 60 grams of suspected shabu, valued at P408,000.

Four other drug suspects were also apprehended by the police during a buy-bust operation in Barangay 1 Poblacion, Kabankalan City. The police recovered about four grams of suspected shabu, worth P27,200.

Meanwhile, the BCPO also accounted for 15 wanted persons, arrested 19 illegal gambling violators, and recovered 10 loose firearms during law enforcement operations from Nov. 11 to 17. ||
