Anti-drug operatives seized about P11.5 million worth of suspected shabu and arrested six individuals in separate operations in Negros Island on Aug. 14 and 15.
A joint operation of the Philippine National Police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Aug. 14 led to the arrest of Franklin Miral, 41, at Barangay Bajumpandan in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.
The apprehension of Miral, of Bacong town yielded 1.5 kilos of suspected shabu valued at P10.2 million.
At Purok Cereza South in Barangay 3, Bacolod City, the City Drug Enforcement Unit recovered about 110 grams of suspected shabu worth P748,000 from suspects Roberto Artieda and Rey John Masula on Aug. 15.
PDEA agents confiscated an estimated 68 grams of suspected shabu valued at P462,800 from alias “Lovely”, 33, at Purok Fire in Barangay 8, Bacolod City also on Aug. 14.
On the same day, two suspects identified as Rolan Becera and Reynold Larita were apprehended by the police at Spur 16 in Barangay Bunga, Don Salvador Benedicto.
They yielded an estimated 24 grams of suspected shabu worth P163,200. | GB
