Policemen seized more than P1 million worth of suspected shabu and arrested six drug suspects in Negros Island Region on Aug. 23.
An estimated 160 grams of suspected shabu valued at P1.088 million were confiscated by the police from a high-value individual during a buy-bust at Barangay Villareal in Bayawan City, Negros Oriental.
Five other drug suspects were arrested in Negros Occidental for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
A 19-year-old student, identified as alias “Jobean”, was arrested at Purok 3M’s in Barangay Poblacion, Toboso, Negros Occidental.
His arrest yielded five sachets of suspected shabu and P500 in marked money.
Alias “Necklier” was arrested at Purok Kalumpang in Barangay 1 Poblacion, San Carlos City while alias “Michael”, 46, was nabbed at Purok Langka in Barangay Pacol, Bago City.
Two drug suspects are now locked up in jail after their arrest in La Castellana and Murcia, which yielded an estimated three grams of suspected shabu. | GB
