Operatives of the Bacolod City Police Station 5 arrested a dance instructor with more than P1 million in suspected shabu in Purok Gonzaga, Barangay Taculing, Bacolod Tuesday night.

Arjon Ramos, 27, was arrested in a buy-bust operation in his house with 151 grams of suspected shabu, worth P1,025,000, drugs paraphernalia, and P500 in marked money, the police reported.

Ramos is a dance instructor and the “keeper” of the illegal drugs supplied by a drug group, the report added.

P/Captain John Christopher Masangkay of Police Station 5 said the arrest of Ramos was a follow-up operation after the police nabbed one of his colleagues in another buy-bust that yielded illegal drugs worth P700,000.

Ramos is now detained at Police Station 5 and will face charges for violation of the Dangerous Drugs Act. — MML
