P1.5 million shabu seized in Bacolod

The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) confiscated an estimated P1.5 million worth of suspected shabu from five arrested individuals during the Holy Week.

On April 17, the operation of Police Station 2 in Purok Narra Baybay, Barangay 8, yielded 150 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P1.02 million.

Four drug suspects identified with their aliases “Erika”, 30; “Rolinda”, 59; “Sherwin”, 49; and “Xerxes”, 55 were arrested, police report showed.

It was followed by another buy-bust April 19 in Purok Pedring, Barangay Estefania, where operatives of the City Drug Enforcement Unit recovered 65 grams of suspected shabu valued at P442,000.

A certain “Albert” was apprehended by the police.

On April 18, the arrest of a drug suspect alias “Leo” in Purok Cogon 3, Barangay Alimango in Escalante City, yielded about 4.76 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P32,368.

Alias “Arvin”, 20, was apprehended by the police on the same day at Hacienda Fe, Barangay Batuan in La Carlota City, for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

His arrest yielded a gram of suspected shabu, valued at P6,800. | GB
