The pump prices of diesel and gasoline products will increase by P0.40 a liter tomorrow, May 28.
Kerosene will also have an upward adjustment of P0.30/L, oil companies announced May 27.
This will be the second straight week of price hike for diesel and kerosene, and the first for gasoline.
“The week-on-week price of Dubai crude has decreased by almost $2.50 per barrel,” the Department of Energy Oil Monitor showed, adding that the international prices of gasoline, diesel, and kerosene have also decreased per barrel week-on-week by about $5.90, $1.50 and$ 1.50, respectively.”
The latest adjustments resulted in a net increase of P7.15/liter and P4.45/liter, respectively, for gasoline and diesel, and a net decrease of P1.35 per liter for kerosene, in the first five months of this year, the DOE added.
The DOE-Visayas Energy Industry Management Division, meanwhile, said it started its frontline services at the Bacolod Express Service Office, 3rd floor of Ayala Malls Capitol Central in the City, May 27. This will run until noon of May 30.
“We are accepting applications for permits/certificates as registered participants in the downstream oil industry,” the DOE said.
These include applications for Certificate of Compliance for liquid fuels retail outlets, licenses to operate for LPG dealers and retailers, and certificates of registration for authority to sell an LPG brand, for authorized delivery vehicles of LPG in cylinders, and for LPG centralized piping system. | CGC
