Anti-illegal drug operations conducted by the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) Sept. 8, yielded over P1 million worth of suspected shabu and resulted in the arrest of three suspects.
City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) operatives seized eight heat-sealed sachets and one knot-tied plastic bag containing suspected shabu, valued at about P1,020,000, during a buy-bust operation in Purok Magtiayon, Barangay 10, at around 10 p.m.
They also arrested a 33-year-old jobless resident, tagged as a high-value individual, at the scene.
At around 9:02 p.m. that day, Police Station 7 operatives also seized 12 sachets of suspected shabu, valued at approximately P68,000, in a buy-bust in Progreso Village 1, Barangay Vista Alegre.
Two street-level individuals, both unemployed residents of Barangay Vista Alegre, were also nabbed.
All three suspects are in police custody and face charges under Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. | TMD
