Malacanang has declared Nov. 4 this year a special non-working holiday in San Carlos City.
Executive Secretary Salvador C. Medialdia, who signed Proclamation No. 1031 by authority of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, said this will allow city folk to celebrate their annual festival as well as the renaming of the LGU from its former name, Nabinkalan.
“It is but fitting and proper that the people of the city of San Carlos be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies subject to community quarantine, social distancing, and other public health measures,” Medialdia said.
“Now, therefore, I, Salvador C. Medialdia, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, Rodrigo Roa Duterte, do hereby declare Wednesday, 4 November 2020, a special non-working holiday in the city of San Carlos,” added Medialdia in the proclamation signed last Oct. 23. ETL
