NORPPO has new OIC

The Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office (NORPPO) has a new officer-in-charge, PCol. Criscente Tiguelo, who assumed his post yesterday.

He was installed by PBrig. Gen. Arnold Thomas Ibay, director of Police Regional Office-Negros Island Region (PRO-NIR), to succeed PCol. Ronan Claravall in a ceremony held at Camp Lt. Col. Francisco C. Fernandez Jr. in Sibulan, Negros Oriental.

“With Col. Tiguelo at the helm of NORPPO, we expect continuity of strong law enforcement initiatives aligned with the mission and vision of PRO-NIR and the Philippine National Police (PNP),” Ibay said.

He reiterated his assurance to the people of Negros Island that the command remains focused on responsive, community-oriented policing anchored on transparency, accountability, and professionalism.

Tiguelo was previously the chief of the Regional Operations Division of PRO- NIR.

He is a member of the Philippine National Police Academy Class 2000.

Claravall, who is a member of PNPA Class 1999, is up for transfer to the Directorate for Operations at the PNP national headquarters in Camp Crame. | GB
