A graduate of the Northern Negros State College of Science and Technology, based in Sagay City, Negros Occidental, and an alumnus of Silliman University in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, are among the topnotchers in the 2022 Agriculturist Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission said Dec. 8.
Methusael Pormento of NONESCOST College of Agriculture and Allied Sciences Batch 2022 placed seventh, with a rating of 85.33 percent, while SU’s Jose Paolo Echavez landed in the Top 2, with an 86.33 percent rating.
Rio Antion of the University of the Philippines Los Baños, and Naomi Grace Lancita of Visayas State University are tied in Top 1 with an 86.83 percent rating, the PRC said, adding that 4,035 out of 11,673 passed the examination given by the Board of Agriculture last month.
The NONESCOST community lauded Pormento and passers Eligar Abadilla, John Alicarte, Roberto Cañete Jr., Ailyn Cogonon, Nikki Dugaduga, Jerson Durin, Gemadel Gallardo, Aileen Ibañez, Janari Kimie Mayagma, John Mark Padernal, Femie Rose Parcon, Wendyl Payla, Rie Liza Peraan, Jenica Pingcas, Karl Edrian Rojas, Ruby Ruel, Amed Salem, Ismar Solido, Ryan Telebrico, Analou Sebor, Stephen Verbo, and Sheilla Yorpo.

The PRC said that on Jan. 30 and 31, Feb. 1 to 3, and Feb. 6 to 10, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line, adding that the date and venue for the oath-taking ceremony will be announced later./CGC
