Noceco gives school supplies

The Negros Occidental Electric Cooperative, in cooperation with GN Power, recently distributed school supplies to over 200 kindergarten and Grade 1 pupils of Mahalang Elementary School in Himamaylan City.

The event was part of Noceco’s strong commitment to supporting endeavors that will help students, most especially the less fortunate, receive educational assistance through the distribution of school supplies.

The GN Power was a major benefactor of the outreach program.

Kindergarten and elementary pupils were all smiles upon receiving their set of school paraphernalia, including bags, face towels, raincoats, and slippers, the Noceco said in a press release.

The activity was attended by the school’s officer-in-charge, Mylen Pit, principal Alexander Samson, Donna Marie Sanong – vice president of the Teacher’s League, as well as faculty and staff of the Mahalang Elementary School.

Engr. Domingo Santiago, Noceco project supervisor/acting general manager, was also present during the activity together with Engr. Federico Gequillana Jr. – area 3 manager, Cherry Oyos – internal audit manager, and employees from the CCS and Internal Audit departments. ||
