As part of its second anniversary celebration, Negros Electric and Power Corporation (Negros Power) conducted a bloodletting activity on Aug. 3 at its main office in Bacolod City, highlighting its commitment to community service and corporate social responsibility.

The blood donation drive was organized in partnership with the Negros First Provincial Blood Center.

Employees of Negros Power voluntarily donated blood to help replenish the province’s blood supply and support patients requiring life-saving transfusions.

Medical personnel from the Negros First Provincial Blood Center facilitated the activity, ensuring that all health and safety protocols were strictly observed throughout the event.

With the theme, “Stronger Together”, the activity reflected the collective commitment of its employees to extend service beyond the workplace through volunteerism and compassion.

The power company said the bloodletting drive underscores its dedication not only to providing reliable electric service but also to contributing to the well-being of the communities it serves.

Negros Power expressed its gratitude to all employee-volunteers who participated in the activity, emphasizing that every blood donation has the potential to save lives.

It also acknowledged the Negros First Provincial Blood Center for its partnership in the successful conduct of the blood donation drive.

Initiatives such as the bloodletting activity reinforce Negros Power’s  commitment to corporate social responsibility, demonstrating that its mission goes beyond delivering electricity by helping strengthen communities and providing hope to those in need. ||
