The much-anticipated Negros Oriental Food Exhibition (NOFEX) 2025 officially opened July 10 at the Robinsons Place Dumaguete main atrium, showcasing the rich culinary talents and innovative food products from local exhibitors across the province.

The expo, until July 10, aims to promote the vibrant food industry of Negros Oriental and support local entrepreneurs in expanding their markets.

The opening ceremony was graced by distinguished personalities, including Juliet Banogon, provincial director of the Department of Trade and Industry Negros Oriental, who delivered the opening remarks and expressed enthusiasm for the growth of the local food industry.

The program was led by Albert Lemuel Malonzo, who facilitated a series of activities, including the presentation of the exhibitors, the official opening ceremony, a guided exhibit tour, and networking opportunities among participants and visitors.

The event underscores DTI-7’s initiatives to invigorate the local food industry, emphasizing the importance of innovation, entrepreneurship, and market expansion.

Maribel Sumanoy also shared insights on the role of SMEs in regional economic growth, highlighting ongoing support programs, the Capitol said. ||
