The 17th Negros Island Organic Farmers Festival and the 2nd Terra Madre Visayas twin events, which opened on Tuesday, Nov. 19, logged first-day sales of P314,507.05.
The festival is being held at the North Capitol Road and Provincial Lagoon grounds in Bacolod City.
The initial sales report was submitted to the Office of the Provincial Administrator.
There are 101 exhibitors from various farmer organizations and local government units joining the weeklong activity, which will end on Saturday, Nov. 23. | GB
