The province of Negros Occidental received various awards and recognitions for its outstanding performances in population and development program, responsible parenthood and family planning, and adolescent health and development.
Plaques of recognition were received as Outstanding Population Office in the Localization of the Philippine Population and Development Program (PPDP); ranking second in New Family Planning Acceptors Referred and Served for Responsible Parenthood and Family Planning (RPFP) Program with a 544.3 percent accomplishment; and ranking third in Reached for Adolescent Health and Development (AHD) Program with a 282 percent accomplishment, all for year 2023, a Capitol press release said March 18.
Certificates of recognition, meanwhile, were received for achieving a 161.3 percent achievement in couples/individuals reached in the implementation of RPFP; forerunner in the implementation of the pre-marriage orientation and counseling; achieving a 282 percent adolescents reached in the implementation of AHD Program;
Top 3 Adolescents Reached (Province and Highly Urbanized City Category) in the implementation of AHD Program for 2023; and for its support in the implementation of the strategy along special population group, also in 2023. ||
