The Provincial Health Office (PHO) has recorded 1,692 dengue cases, including seven deaths, in Negros Occidental from January 1 to April 19 this year.
This indicates an increase of 341.78 percent compared to only 303 cases for the same period in 2024.
However, the number of dengue cases already dropped in the past two weeks, Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson said.
