Supporters of Vice President Leni Robredo, the standard bearer of the broad political coalition Isambayan, are mapping out her visit to Negros Occidental on Nov. 5, or Negros Day.
Former Negros Occidental Gov. Rafael Coscolluela, who is the Isambayan and Negros 4 Leni convenor, said Robredo has expressed keen interest in meeting her supporters in the province, who asked her to grace the blessing and inauguration of the Leni-Kiko campaign headquarters in Bacolod City.
Coscolluela also said that the details of Robredo’s visit will be finalized soon.
Hundreds of Laban Leni Negros Occidental (LLNO) volunteers, meanwhile, are expected to join the nationwide caravan for VP Leni on Oct. 23.
LLNO is a loose group of private individuals created through social media, and already has a membership of over 1,700 volunteers in just one week.
LLNO convenor and spokesperson, Pinky Mirano, said the caravan on Saturday will be the third activity of the group, and “we are calling on VP Leni supporters to join us.” — GB
