A total of P56.4 million worth of barangay projects for implementation in various cities and municipalities of Negros Occidental were distributed to the respective punong barangays and authorized officials at the Negros Occidental Provincial Capitol March 11.
Among the projects funded are road concreting, installation of solar streetlights, acquisition of office equipment, appliances and furniture, improvement of multi-purpose buildings, construction of communal toilets, renovation of barangay halls, acquisition of multi-purpose vehicles, and construction of drainage canals, among others.

Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson, Vice Gov. Joeben Alonso, and board members Andrew Montelibano, Jeffrey Tubola, Bambi Depasucat, Hadji Trojillo, Richard Sablan, and Genaro Alvarez IV led the ceremonial distribution of checks at the Capitol Social Hall in Bacolod City. ||
