The Regional Project Monitoring Team (RPMT) of the NEDA Central Visayas Regional Project Monitoring Committee and the Negros Oriental Provincial Project Monitoring Committee (PPMC) conducted a two-day joint site inspection of two hospitals and two water projects in the province recently.
These include the completion of the Tanjay City General Hospital, upgrading of the Negros Oriental Provincial Hospital in Dumaguete City, improvement of the Tanjay Water Supply System, and the construction of the Bayawan Water Supply System project.
The RPMT and PPMC members also paid a courtesy call on Governor Chaco Sagarbarria, and were welcomed by Provincial Administrator, Atty. Arthur Fran Tolcidas, the NEDA7 said in a press release July 5.
Comprising the RPMT were private sector representative Dr. Profetiza Lim, and representatives from NEDA7, Department of Budget and Management, and the Department of the Interior and Local Government in Central Visayas.
Findings and observations from the project site inspections shall be discussed in the forthcoming Regional Project Monitoring Committee meeting, the NEDA said. ||
