Bacolod residents can now process their NBI clearance at the Government Service Express (GSE) of SM City Bacolod, with the center accepting new applications and renewals.
“This makes the clearance process easier for applicants, especially those who already come to the mall to take care of other government transactions. It is good to have these services available in one place,” Manuel Fayre Jr., NBI Bacolod District Office agent-in-charge, said Aug. 20.
The NBI Clearance Center is located on the third floor of the north wing, and operates Mondays through Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., except on holidays.
The GSE serves as a one-stop hub for payment and processing services from various government agencies, allowing the public to attend to official transactions in a comfortable mall setting.
The center’s opening was marked by a simple blessing, led by Fr. Narciso Gregori Gayares VII.
Among the NBI officials who graced the occasion were assistant director for Negros Island Region Ido Salvador Trasmonte, NBI Bacolod District Office executive officer William De Arca Jr., and Fayre, along with NBI employees and representatives of other government agencies also located in the GSE.
Representing SM City Bacolod were mall manager Mary Jane Losaria and assistant mall manager Lorenzo Benedicto. ||
