MPadilla eases COVID restrictions for holidays

Moises Padilla residents can now have their immediate family members coming from outside the municipality stay over during the holidays as per the order of its chief executive, Ella Celestina D. Garcia-Yulo.

In Executive Order No. 49, series of 2020, Garcia-Yulo said that starting Dec. 23 until Jan. 2, 2021, persons coming from outside the municipality with immediate family members in the town will be allowed to stay for more than 12 hours without the need for facility quarantine.

However, they will still be required to record their details in the logbook upon  entry into the town and shall be monitored by officials of the barangays where they will be staying.

The local government will also conduct random testing for COVID-19 on residents who will receive guests coming from outside the town during the holidays.

The mayor also said that those who fail to abide by the order shall be subjected to appropriate actions in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. – NWI
